Oswego County’s newest food ministry, The Feed and Share Project, celebrated a milestone in their work this weekend.

This growing service has been selling dinners monthly and for every two meals they sell, they give one away to an individual in need.

The Feed and Share Project reached the milestone of giving away their 650th free meal this weekend in Fulton. In a very successful operation, the Project coordinated its service with the Family Resource Center and also raised hundreds of dollars for their programs.

“It is such a privilege bringing hope and a practical benefit to our neighbors,” stated The Feed and Share Project co-founder, Karen Valentine. The ministry operates out of a multitude of participating locations within the county and has its home base at 624 Oneida St. Fulton, NY 13069.

“The Feed and Share Project continues growing and reaching out across the county of Oswego,” noted George Valentine. On July 19, the ministry will be selling their remarkable Chicken Barbeque, giving away dinners to those in need and raising funds for a different program, this time with Wellhouse Ministries. This ministry is building Anthony House, Oswego County’s only end of life care facility.

For more information on buying your dinner for the July program, contact The Feed and Share Project through their Facebook page by the July 14th deadline.
