Write a commentThe Oswego Trinity United Methodist Church (UMC) will host the Ash Wednesday Service, February 18 beginning at 7 p.m.
Pastor Ruth Rosa Warner (Oswego Trinity UMC), Pastor JD Park (Oswego First UMC), Pastor Diane Sokolowski (Journey of Faith, Oswego), Pastor Jim Sokolowski (Hannibal Center – S. Hannibal and Martville UMC), and Pastor Maureen Berson (Minetto UMC) will be using the order of worship from the Book of Worship. Everyone is welcome.
Music will be provided by the Combined Methodist Choirs.
In addition, Trinity UMC will begin a Lenten Book Study, "Final Words" by Adam Hamilton at 12 p.m. starting Sunday, February 22 and running for six weeks. The same class will also run on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. starting February 25. All are welcome!
The next freewill dinner is March 1 from 4:30 until 5:30 or until gone. The planned menu is corned beef and cabbage, rolls, cookies, and beverages. The eat-in dinner will be served downstairs, please use the Utica Street entrance. Donations will be accepted, but never expected.
The church is located at 45 East Utica Street, Oswego and is handicap accessible.
