The following is a Mother's Day message from Maddie the Alpaca at Seven Acres Alpaca Farm in Phoenix:
Hello Dear Readers,
My name is Maddie, and I am one of the wonderful 23 Alpaca that lives on Seven Acres Alpaca Farm in Phoenix, NY. I wanted you all to know, that we will be having a very special Mother’s Day Celebration on the farm on May 8th for all you Mom’s and Grandmoms out there.
You will be able to spend time with us in the pasture, pet us, and even give us some special treats that we love. You see, Alpaca are the best of cousins to the camel and llamas. And we are all part of the camelid family. I must say, though, that we are the gentle cousins, and do not spit like our relatives. Hee, hee, hee.
When you visit the farm, you will be met by our Official Greeter, Rosie. She will be right up front at the gate with her famous smile. Rosie loves to give everyone who visits a big Alpaca kiss if you want one. Hee, hee, hee.
We have two little male crias (baby alpaca), Toby and Spirit who will delight you with all their silly boy antics. They just love to run, run, run and play, play, play. So, bring the little ones with you on your visit. They will love watching the boys.
So, there you have it. I hope to see you on a visit. Just log onto our website for lots of information at: sevenacresalpaca.com
