Born in Elizabeth, N. J., she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Marie (Mahulak) Shylovsky.
She worked as Secretary for Leonard Birnbaum, CPA in New Jersey.
Her and her husband moved to Oswego 15 years ago. She was a member of the Scriba Senior Citizens and Golden Ages. She enjoyed knitting and cross stitching.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Esser; a daughter, Suxanne (Paul) DeMicco, of Arizona; four grandchildren, Robert Esser, Brian Esser, Katie Esser and Megan DeMicco.
She was predeceased by a son, Craig Kenneth Esser and a brother, Theodore Shylovsky.
Calling hours will be held 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, with a service to follow at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
