     Margreta Beatrice Liebenauer, 74, died in her home June 24, 2013 from complications with Alzheimer's disease.

     She was a daughter of the late Amos and Elizabeth (DeVree) Palmer of Middleville, MI.

     Margreta earned her RN from Mercy School of Nursing in Grand Rapids, Mich., and her BSN and MSN from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She taught for a number of years in the BOCES LPN program in Mexico.

     Margreta was a member of the P.E.O., the Philanthropic and Educational Organization, and the past president of the Oswego Town Historical Society. She enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband in France and other Western European countries, as well as in the United States.

     She is survived by her husband, Paul; her son, Eric and his wife Tammy, of Georgetown, KY, and their two children, Bryce and Brennan; her daughter, Kara Liebenauer, of Owensboro, Ky., and granddaughters, Illa, Leann and Ryan; her twin sister, Bernice Wood, of Lexington, Ky, and sister, Enid (Robert) Adkin, of Middleville, Mich.; and a brother, Fred (Margret) Palmer of Hastings, Mich. and Arcadia, Fla.

     Arrangements will be private.
     In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or Oswego County Hospice in her memory are suggested.

     Nelson Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
