Write a commentMaurice "Moe" Keefe, Jr., 85, of Fair Haven passed away on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024 at Upstate University Hospital.
Moe was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Maurice Keefe, Sr. and Anita Humphrey Keefe.
He had been employed at Royal Globe Insurance Company as a Law Supervisor and at Krenzer Marine in Sodus and Burritt Chevrolet in Oswego as a salesperson. Additionally, Moe worked as a paperboy for the Oswego Palladium-Times and was a member of Oswego Elks Lodge #271 and the Bayside Cruisers Car Club.
A member of the Chris-Craft Commander Club, Moe loved classic cars and boats, spending time with family and friends, watching his grandkids play sports, and telling stories.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Nash Keefe of Fair Haven; one daughter, Colleen Keefe of Fair Haven; one son, Patrick Keefe of North Wolcott; one brother, Donald J. Coe of Katonah; and three grandchildren, Ashlyn Keefe, Bethanie Keefe, and Damon Keefe.
Funeral services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. The burial will be held in Springbrook Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
