The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center is leading two public programs in May for the community to attend.

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 9:30 AM, join the educator for a magical journey through the woods during Springtime Woods Walk. Witness the transformation of nature with buds bursting, flowers blooming, birds migrating, and amphibians calling. The springtime woods awaken with a burst of life, offering countless wonders to observe and enjoy.

The second program is on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 6:30 PM with an enchanting walk along the trails to the pond. As dusk settles, the woods and marsh come alive with beavers swimming, birds singing, and frogs calling. These are just a few of the incredible sights and sounds you might encounter during Nature at Night Program.

These family-oriented adventures kick off indoors with a brief educational session, setting the stage for an exciting outdoor stroll along scenic trails. The programs are designed for nature lovers of all ages; anyone from individuals to families are encouraged to attend! All youth must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. The fee for these programs is only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free! Preregistration is requested.
