Write a commentCity of Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow and owner Terry LeRoy announced LeRoi, Inc, a jewelry manufacturing company recently re-located into the City of Oswego from Fulton has officially opened for business during a ribbon cutting ceremony today.
LeRoi, Inc broight forty existing jobs to the City of Oswego by moving into an existing building at 212 West Second Street in downtown Oswego. The re-location was incentivized by the City of Oswego offering a $130,000 grant from program income through the NYS Community Development Block Grant program administered and managed by the City’s Office of Economic Development.
“I am very excited to welcome LeRoi, Inc to the Oswego community as they move their operations and existing personnel into the City of Oswego. Bringing more jobs to the City of Oswego is very important to stimulating the local economy and providing employment opportunities to City residents,” said Mayor Barlow. “The $130,000 to incentivize LeRoi, Inc will certainly give a boost to our community as we move jobs into the City of Oswego and welcome a great, reputable business into our downtown. I am thrilled to partner with Terry LeRoi and his team at LeRoi, Inc to make this project happen and look forward to seeing the positive outcomes from the move and wish them the best of luck moving forward,” Barlow said.

LeRoi, Inc has been in business for more than 24 years. The re-location to Oswego is part of an expansion project requiring LeRoi, Inc to hire more people and move into a larger facility.
