Write a commentMelanie A. Turnbaugh, 72, of Oswego, passed away on June 24, 2025, with her family by her side.
Born in Hershey, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Tosca (Boschi) Snee.
Melanie was a RN and psych ward nurse at the Pennsylvania State Penitentiary in Camp Hill PA. She enjoyed to knit, crochet, and bird watch. Religion was a big part in Melanie’s life. She was a very kind and caring person and would go out of her way for those in need.
Melanie is survived by her sons, Brandon (Bonnie) and Derek (Jody) Turnbaugh, grandchildren, Cassidy, Eliana, Sophia, Uriah, Sincerity, Gideon, Phoebe, Nehemiah, Silas, and Titus. She is also survived by brothers, Christopher and Kenneth Snee, and sisters, Jamie Raab, and Jennifer Troutman.
In addition to her parents, Melanie is predeceased by a sister Danielle Singer.
As per her family’s wishes there will be no services at this time.
Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
