After a successful golf tournament this past summer and numerous other fundraising efforts, the Michele Wink Foundation recently was able to award two more $1,000 scholarships to Oswego High School graduates from the class of 2019, Monica Cahill and Alec Caroccio.

Criteria for the scholarship include being a student in good academic standing along with being someone who has good nature and moral integrity. “The criteria runs very parallel to Michele’s beliefs,” Tim said. “It represents what Michele is about. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you are, everyone deserves the best. Both Monica and Alec certainly measure up to that standard.”

In addition, Tim wanted to thank the event organizers, sponsors, and the local community for their tremendous support on behalf of his family and the Michele Wink Foundation. “Michele and I are not originally from Oswego, but this community embraced us over the past 20 plus years. So many individuals and business have stepped up and allowed us to continue Michele’s legacy. It is truly humbling and we all couldn’t be more grateful.”

The Michele Wink Foundation Golf Tournament will be held this year on June 13, 2020 at Stone Creek Golf Club.
