Write a commentCadence Eiriksson, an eighth grader at the Oswego Middle School, was recently awarded a $500 grant from the Michele Wink Foundation.
Eiriksson competed at the World Dance Championships during the last week of July at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.
The Michele Wink Foundation was started in honor of the long time trainer for the Oswego School District by her husband Tim.
Eiriksson was the inaugural winner of the Oswego’s Got Talent competition in 2019. She aspires to be a dancer and eventually own her own dance studio.
