The Art Association of Oswego announces a new class, Monotypes and Monoprints with local artist and educator, Bill DeMott. The 2-class series will be held June 26 and 28.
According to DeMott, "The class will be an exploration of various printmaking methods used to make one-of-a-kind prints."
Topics covered:
• Creating & press-printing additive monotypes with water-based inks
• Creating & press-printing reductive monotypes with oil based inks
• Creating & hand-printing collagraph plates
This class is limited to 8 people, ages 16 and up.
The classes will be held at the AAO Civic Art Center, Oswego, NY on Monday, June 26 from 6 to 9:30 pm and Wednesday, June 28 from 6 to 9:30 pm. For more information email wdemott@twcny.rr.com.
