Well, the Friends of History has just the “ticket” for you! We have officially declared Sunday, May 2 to be Friends of History Movie Night!
No need to leave your house, remove those comfortable slippers, or even take a shower. However, you will need to fix your favorite snacks and pour your favorite drink (alcohol is allowed). You can then choose your favorite movie from your DVD collection (or from the set of movies you have a chance to win in this raffle) or rent or stream one that evening, sit in your favorite chair, and know that you are enjoying a movie with your friends virtually.
Why would you do this? Because it will be fun…and because for just $5 per ticket you may be the lucky winner of one of two extraordinary Movie Night Raffle Baskets. Each basket contains a $25 gift card to a local restaurant, a bottle of wine, a DVD collection that contains three or four movies, games, snacks…and so much more.
The drawing for the lucky basket winners will be held on Wednesday, April 28th …so if you pick up the raffle basket by Friday, April 30th, you will have amazing snacks…and a surprise DVD collection to add pleasure to your Movie Night.
And that is not the end to your fun. Let us know by Friday, May 7 what movie you watched and your name will be placed in a special drawing. The winner of that drawing will receive a souvenir item from the Pratt House Museum gift shop.
