Write a commentNancy Kathleen Marsh, 52, and a resident of Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Oswego Hospital.
Nancy was born in Syracuse, NY. She was the daughter of Kathleen (McGrath) Marsh, and the late John “Jack” Marsh. She grew up in Mexico, NY and was a life resident of Oswego County.
She was a graduate of Mexico Academy High School, and received her associate degree at the University of Canton School of Mortuary Science.
Nancy had worked as a Licensed Funeral Director for almost 30 years. She had been employed with several funeral homes in Central New York during that time. She loved her job, and was very dedicated to it, because it gave her the opportunity to help people during the most difficult times. She was kind and empathetic, and connected deeply with the families that she served.
She loved the outdoors, and working on projects around her home. She was also an accomplished horseback rider, and an enthusiastic softball player.
Nancy will be remembered for her wonderful, infectious laugh. She was always fun to be around, and loved being with her friends and family, especially her two beautiful daughters.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jordan Marsh and Julia Marsh, both of Pulaski; her mother, Kathy Marsh of Pulaski; two brothers, Steven Marsh of Brevard, North Carolina, and Ron Cooper of Baldwinsville; a step-daughter, Trisha Capron; and her significant other, Tim Compson of Pulaski.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Robert King, who died in 2008, and her father, John “Jack” Marsh, who died in 2014.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, at St. Ann Mother of Mary Church in Mexico.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 Tuesday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
