Write a commentDo you enjoy shopping with good music and good food all around you? Mark your calendars for the Port City Co-Op’s first “Downtown MARKET” for this season. The “Downtown MARKET” will feature more than 20 outdoor vendors plus an additional 30 indoor vendors, live music and food trucks.
The New Downtown Market will have live music underwritten by PathFinder Bank. The first Downtown Market, Saturday May 20 from 10AM-4PM will feature John McConnell playing live from Noon-3PM and the Phat Kats Food Trucks all day. It takes place in the PathFinder Bank Parking Lot located at 139 W 2nd St right next door to the Port City Co-Op.
Linda DeMassi, Port City Co-Op’s Manager said; “This is the 3rd year the Port City CoOp has presented an outdoor market. We are excited about the changes for this year. Moving the outdoor market from Sundays to Saturdays will build off all the other downtown stores being open. It’s a win-win. Adding the live music and food trucks will provide additional benefits for our customers.”
PathFinder Bank will underwrite the cost of the live music in their continuing commitment to support events like this that add to the quality of life in Oswego.
The Port City CoOp Downtown Market will run the 3rd Saturday of each month, May – Sept from 10AM – 4PM in the Pathfinder Bank Parking Lot on w 2nd near the intersection of W Bridget St. For additional information contact the Port City CoOp at 315-402-8483.
