The Yellow Dot Program is designed to assist people in an emergency who may not be able to communicate. The kit contains a medical information card and a Yellow Dot decal.

Participants simply complete the card, attach a recent photo and place in the glove compartment of their vehicle. The Yellow Dot decal is placed on the rear driver's side window.
In case of an emergency, first responders will be alerted by the Yellow Dot decal and know to look for the medical information card in the glove compartment.
Funded by the New York State Sheriff's Association, the Yellow Dot Program is a free service available to individuals of all ages. Kits are being distributed throughout Oswego County to law enforcement agencies, local fire departments and emergency medical facilities.
People interested in participating can obtain a free kit at any one of those locations or by calling the Oswego County Sheriff's Office at 349-3411 for more information.
