The activity was part of a baby shower for expectant mothers in the community. Sponsored by Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) Options and WIC programs, Cornell Cooperative Extension, the Oswego County Breastfeeding Coalition, Mother Earth Baby and the Oswego Hospital, the event featured presentations on the expectations of motherhood and the benefits of breastfeeding, as well as education and discussion regarding nutrition throughout pregnancy and while breastfeeding and what to expect while in the hospital for delivery.
