Heather Shambo, owner of Ontario Soap Company, was a recent guest of Past President Sue Witmer. Ms. Shambo spoke about the company she founded in 2014. Shambo has been making handcrafted soap and cleaning products for family and friends for 3 years. She left a job with Oswego County to focus on building Ontario Soap Company and hasn't looked back. Business is booming says Shambo. She was a runner-up in last fall's Next Great Idea competition, is a vendor at the Oswego Farmer's Market, is developing a website and markets her products on Facebook.
