Write a commentOperation Oswego County invites the public to join the Central New York Regional Economic Development Council (CNYREDC) at the CNY Strategy Summit on July 22, 2015 from 1:00 - 3:30 pm at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center at Oncenter, 800 S. State Street, Syracuse.
The Summit will prioritize key investments and strategies identified by the CNYREDC's public participation process to form the framework for the region's submission to the Upstate Revitalization Initiative, which will invest up to $500 million each in three Upstate regions. Open to the public and free to attend.

The CNYREDC’s Big Idea competition is a call for submissions of transformational project proposals, and an effort to identify businesses poised for growth that will stimulate private investment, create well-paying jobs and sustain economic progress in the region.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit proposals in alignment with the region’s key strategic focus areas, which will be further articulated at the CNY Strategy Summit on July 22. Succesful proposals will be selected by the CNYREDC for inclusion in the region’s Upstate Revitalization Initiative application.
