The Oswego Association of Business and Professional Women is encouraging new membership now.
Their membership includes working women and retirees and supports local groups and organizations. Some of their activities include contributing to Human Concerns Food Pantry, focusing on a Thanksgiving food drive for them; adopting needy families at Christmas to provide gifts and food; and each year awarding a scholarship to a local female graduate of Oswego High School.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at Vona's in Oswego at 6 p.m. with the exception of July and August.
If you are interested in joining this group of women, contact to Pat Cole, membership committee, at 342-2455.
