Oswego County 4-H Sparks – Animal Science program to be offered

The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County 4-H Program will be offering a three-session 4-H Sparks Club – Introduction to Animal Science, 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Fridays, November 10th and 17th, and December 1st.

The series will be held in the upstairs room of the Mexico Public Library located at 3269 Main Street, Mexico. Through hands on activities, participants will learn about animal science careers, skeletal structure of animals, and the value of livestock with proper body structure.

This Oswego 4-H Introduction to Animal Science Program is open to youth of ages eight to 18 years old. The fee to participate is $15 per youth. Enrolled Oswego County 4-H members are free. Registration is required as space is limited. A parent or legal guardian must attend the first session on Friday, November 10th to complete and sign additional enrollment paperwork.
