The Oswego County Health Department partners with the Food Bank of Central New York to offer three mobile food pantries in May.
Anyone in need of food assistance can attend a mobile food pantry to receive a free box of food. There are no income requirements for recipients; however, boxes are limited to one per household while supplies last.
The May mobile food pantry schedule is:
- Tuesday, May 6 at 4 p.m.: Central Square Middle School, 248 U.S. Rte. 11
- Friday, May 16 at 4 p.m.: Oswego Alliance Church, 371 Thompson Rd., Oswego
- Tuesday, May 20 at 4 p.m.: Palermo United Methodist Church: 11 Co. Rte. 35, Fulton
Mobile food pantries are held until food has run out. The events are drive-thru, and people are asked to stay in their vehicles.
