The Oswego County Conservative Committee met recently to endorse candidates for the 2018 elections.

“After much deliberation The Oswego County Conservative Committee chose to  endorse Thom Benedetto for Oswego County Family  Court Judge,” said Ronald Greenleaf, chairman.  “Other endorsements were for Assemblyman William Barclay, 120th District; Senator Patty Ritchie, 48th District; Brian Manktelow, NYS Assembly, 130th District; Walter Hafner, Oswego County Court Judge; Paul House, Legislator, District 8, and for Sandy Austin, Volney Town Clerk.

“Scott DelConte and Karen Brandt were interviewed for the 5th judicial Supreme Court Justice seat, but there has been no determination at this point. In addition, both Don Hilton and Eugene Sullivan were interviewed for the Oswego County Sheriff's position and both were endorsed. As a result, there will be a primary for the position. We thank all who have chosen to run and represent the taxpayers  of Oswego County.”
