Representatives from the Oswego Elk's Lodge #271 recently presented a generous donation to support the H. Lee White Marine Museum's August series of events. Saturday, Aug. 17, the Historic Maritime District's West Pier hosts the schooner Lois McClure from the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum of Vermont from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 23, Tales of the Haunted Harbor is the featured event beginning at 7 p.m. and finally on Sunday, Aug. 25, "Celebrating our WWII Heroes" begins with a talk by Captain Lance Knapp about the National Historic Landmark WWII Tug, LT-5.
