     Oswego Lions Club will hold its eighth annual "Cow Chip Bingo" fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 14, at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego.

     The "Cow Chip Bingo" will take place on a special field that will be sectioned off into 520-square yard plots. "Deeds" are being sold for $5 for each square yard plot. Once "Poopsie" the cow is released onto the field, whoever owns the plot that "Poopsie" the cow fertilizes, they will walk away with $500. "Deeds" are available for purchase at Cakes Galore and More in Oswego. "Deeds" are also available from any Oswego Lions Club member.
     This year's fundraiser will once again feature the "Classic Car Show," which will run from 12-4 p.m. the day of the event. Prizes will be given out for the Best Paint Job, Sharpest and People's Choice. Register your car online at Karen.Hammond@live.com. Give your make, model and year of car; there is no entry fee to enter your classic car.
     Adding a special touch to the event will be the "World Famous Lighthouse Lanes Chicken BBQ" which will run from noon until 5 p.m. (or sold out). Presale tickets for the BBQ are $8 (must be picked up by 3 p.m.) or $10 on the day of the event. The BBQ includes chicken, baked beans, salt potatoes and a dinner roll. There will be chairs and tables set up outside to eat your chicken BBQ on site.
     Thanks to Lions Club sponsor, "Fulton Savings Bank," this fun-filled afternoon will also feature live music by Lubricators from 1-4 p.m.
