Write a commentThis year the Oswego Independence Day Committee is asking the community for their suggestions for the 2014 parade's Grand Marshall. The 51st Independence Day Celebration will be held on July 6 at 1pm starting at the Oswego High School and ending at Fort Ontario. There will be a post parade concert at Brietbeck Park that evening followed by fireworks.
The theme for the parade this year is "Our Oswego-Our Time". The Committee would like to encourage the community to showcase Oswego in the past, present and future. We are looking for families in the community who have been a part of Oswego for generations. Families who for many decades have helped in making Oswego what it is today and made an impact over the years by being a part of this community.
