The Oswego Rotary Club members recently purchased school supplies for the Stuff A Bus program operated by the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
Members’ contributions were expanded by a grant from the Tarandi Foundation. Valued at more than $500, the donation consisted mostly of backpacks but included notebooks, paper, and other classroom needs. The donations from the program are pooled and distributed to all school districts in Oswego County. The objective of the program is to assure that all students of the county have the supplies they need for a good learning experience.
The club meets every Tuesday at noon at Bishop’s Commons and the building is fully accessible with convenient parking. Visiting Rotarians and guests are welcome and may reserve lunch by contacting TGorman13126@Gmail.com.
