OsweGO Sundays which features "Taste the World's" Mugs & Motors; Antique, Classic and Muscle Car, Truck and Motorcycle Cruise-In and the Port City CoOp's FLEA MARKET and a FREE live music concert will return Sunday June 7 from 12-5PM.
The first 2 "OsweGO Sundays" were overwhelming successes with more than 80 antique, class and muscle cars, truck and/or motorcycles as well as some 1,000 people enjoyed the more than 50 vendors at the FLEA MARKET. Both events are FREE and open to the public.
The "Muckland Crooners" will be the featured entertainers providing their unique style of music and entertainment. The "Muckland Crooners" are a fun and quirky little band playing "makeshift hobo-rock" on crazy homemade instruments. The Muckland Crooners are a unique 3 piece vocal jugband from the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY. They play "feel-good" music on cigar box guitar, washtub bass, washboard and other homemade instruments.
A Muckland Crooner performance is a fast paced show with a mixture of original tunes and familiar covers all done with a twist. It is a bit like the birth-of-Rock-n-Roll in a hobo jungle. The instrumentation is taken all the way down to it's roots . . . but it will surprise you - as will their tight, three-part harmonies.
The Port City Co-Op FLEA MARKET operates in the parking lot of Pathfinder Bank on W. 2nd St directly across the street from the Oswego Cinemas from 12-5PM and Taste the World's "Mugs & Motors" operates on W 1st St from W Bridge St moving south from 1-4PM.
"OsweGO Sundays" is sponsored in part by Cre8 Studios, Pathfinder Bank, City of Oswego, Taste the World Specialty Foods & Coffee and The Port City Co-Op, Antiques–Art-Craftwork. For additional information contact; "Mugs & Motors" 315/ 529-8433 and/or the FLEA MARKET 315/ 529-5177.
