Mr. Bell discussed the functions of the office, including enforcement of NYS Building Code, issuing and verifying valid permits, answering code violation complaints and code compliant inspections, among other responsibilities. Mr.Bell emphasized year over year increases in reported complaints, reported violations and rental permits issued, which is a direct reflection of Mayor Barlow's commitment to holding landlords accountable and improving Oswego's neighborhoods.
