Write a commentPaul Jones, 71, a resident of Florida before moving back to Oswego in 2025 died Saturday April 12, 2025 at Van Duyn Rehabilitation and Nursing, Syracuse.
He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of the late Joseph and Christine (Polk) Jones. He worked for the city of Sanford, Florida with the road crew for many years, he was a handyman and a jack of all traded.
Mr. Jones was gifted with a green thumb and could grow anything, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
Mr. Jones was predeceased by his daughter Nena Jones.
He is survived by his children Nicole (Dave) Jones- Rourke of Oswego, Paul Jones of Oswego, Destiny Jones of Florida, Victoria Matthews of Oswego, and his 10 grandchildren. Mr. Jones has requested that his services, and burial be private. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.
