The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee presents Patricia Pennock with a certificate of appreciation upon her retirement as a senior caseworker with the Oswego County Department of Social Services (DSS).
Pennock dedicated her 35-year career to helping children find security and stability, eventually becoming supervisor of the Foster Care Team in 2011. Throughout her tenure, she trained foster parents, advocated for children and helped them achieve permanency through adoption. While her vast knowledge of foster care and adoption processes will be sorely missed, Pennock’s retirement is well-deserved and she was applauded for her hard work and compassion.
