Write a comment Philomena Proppe, 96, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Morningstar Care Center, Oswego. She was born in Oswego to the late Louis and Aniela (Wislinzko) Bellardino.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Kelsey, of Fulton; five siblings, Anthony Bellardino, of Oswego, Mary Treameck, of Oswego, Jeanette Mulcahey, of Minetto, Susie Fox, of Granby, and Nellie Roach of South Dakota; a grandson, Lawrence (Patricia) Kelsey of Kentucky; three great- grandchildren, David, Katy-Lynn and Shawn Kelsey; one great-great-grandson, Caden Kelsey; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Proppe was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Castiglia and Louise Arduini.
Funeral services and calling hours will be held privately with the Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating.
Burial and committal services will be held privately at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fulton.
The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., in Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
