Port of Oswego Inbound Aluminum Reaches New Highs

The Port of Oswego has been in the forefront of inter modal transportation in Central New York as a result of a multi-million dollar rail expansion.

This expansion has allowed the port to more than triple the amount of inbound aluminum in the last several months from just over 1500 metric tons, to a record 5000 metric tons since January 2018.

iHeartOswego photographers were invited to witness the latest shipment of aluminum ingots. Jerry Maher and Mary Woods were impressed enough to take these pictures (in the gallery below the story) of the latest off-load.
