Robert was born in Oswego on March 30, 1994. He will always be the son of Josephine (Sanchez) Soucy (James), and Robert Gregory Castaldo (Michelle Bond).
He was a 2013 graduate of Oswego High School, and attended Cayuga Community College.
He had been employed with Upstate Farm and Dairy LLC as a lab technician.
He leaves behind his parents; his sister Katelyn Marie; a niece Everlee Haven Rose; his maternal grandparents, Connie (Nearbin) Murphy and Tim Murphy; his paternal grandmother, Gail Castaldo; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In his heavenly home, Robert joins grandparents Robert R. Castaldo, James (Sr.) and Mary Castaldo, Fred Sanchez, and Robert and Jessie Nearbin; and two special uncles, Robert “Bobby” Nearbin, and Richard Pryor.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Oswego,
Spring burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
