Write a commentRobert “Fergy” Ferguson, 73, of Sterling, NY, died April 9, 2017 at University Hospital, Syracuse surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Born in Oswego, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Ruth (Kandt) Ferguson.
Robert worked locally as a roofer for Comerford & Sons for many years.
He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, gardener, and fisherman. He loved to spend time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Candy of 40 years in June; his two beloved daughters, Dr. Susan (Dr. Dan) Ofstein, of Geneva, NY; and Shelly (Ron) Lindegren of Fresno, CA; sister, Joyce (Randy) Farnsworth of Oswego; brother-in-law, Cliff (Peg) Perry, of Watkins Glen, NY; nieces and nephews, Kevin Pritchard II, Randy (Riesa) Farnsworth; Jamie Perry and Diane Perry; many cousins; and his “grand” dogs and cats.
A Celebration of life will be held 3-8 p.m. Saturday, April 15th at the family home in Sterling.
