Obituaries

     Robert L. France, 61, a resident of Oswego, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

     Born in Oswego, he was a son of Robert France, of Mexico, and Lena (Sessa) Quesnell, of Oswego.
     Robert worked as a recycle technician at Alcan for 12 years, and then worked at Crysteel, in Fulton, for 10 years.
     He loved to stop and chat with friends throughout the community. He was an avid fan of baseball, especially his beloved Yankees, and he loved watching golf on the weekends.
     Surviving besides his parents, are his wife, Darlene (Burgin); three children, Brandon France, Katie France and Adam Pasiak; a stepmother, Ester France; a brother, Dick France; a sister, Sue Dashnau; stepsisters, Denise France and Darlene France; and two grandchildren, Josephine and Genevieve France.
     Burial will be private in St. Peter's Cemetery.
     Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.
