Bob was born in Syracuse, NY, the son of the late Walter and Genevieve (Dillabaugh) Henderson.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, and had been employed locally as a carpenter.
He is survived by his fiancé, Karen Sawyer of Granby; his daughter, Jessica (Bradly) Auringer of Oswego; his son, Shawn (Julia Carter) Henderson of Oswego; his step-son, Jamie Ovenshire of Oswego; his brother, Dan Henderson of Fulton; and four grandchildren, Gauge, Caliber, Seth, and Zoey.
Bob’s family would like his life to be remembered not with tears and sadness, but with smiles and laughter. They invite friends and family to join them between 4:00 to 7:00 Thursday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego, to help them celebrate his life with good feelings.
