Rosebud is the sweetest, bravest kitten.

When she was rescued as a tiny kitten, she had already suffered an injury, but you wouldn’t know it by the way she takes on the world today. She is missing the very tip of her tongue and part of her lower jaw, but she has no trouble eating or drinking, now that she has fully recovered from the surgery that was needed to help her heal. Her tongue sticks out of her mouth a little bit most of the time, but that just adds to her cuteness.

Rosebud prefers to have a cat or dog sibling to keep her company in addition to her human family. She is gentle and sweet, so she is able to interact well with people and animals of all ages. She likes when people pick her up, hold her like a baby, and tell her she is the prettiest kitty ever. She likes to play, but she is not destructive, and she is very neat when using a litter box. She is not timid and will adjust very well to a new environment. She’s not the least bit scared of loud vacuums, hissing cats, or barking dogs.

Rosebud loves to look out windows and climb on cat trees during the day and loves to sleep at her humans’ feet at night. One of her favorite games is to chase her own tail, which is very entertaining for her and everyone else watching. She is bound to change someone’s life for the better from the very moment she is adopted.

Rosebud is about 6 months old and vaccinated. She will be spayed before adoption. She is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email us your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org!
