Rosemary J. "Rosie" Harrington, 84, a longtime resident of 65 E. Fifth St., in Oswego, passed away Wednesday morning, March 27, 2013, in the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Scriba, she was a daughter of the late Seth and Doris Forbes Eason.
She was the widow of the late George H. Harrington Jr., who died in 1993.
She had been employed for many years as a customer representative with Chase Lincoln Bank, in Oswego.
Mrs. Harrington was a Communicant of St. Paul's Church and had volunteered running the bingo concession for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Rose M. Harrington, of Oswego, Doris A. (Todd) Matthews, of Hannibal, and Holly J. Harrington, of Oswego; two sons, George E. (Kathy) Harrington, of South Carolina, and Timothy P. Harrington, of Oswego; two brothers, Robert Eason, of Scriba, and George Eason, of Oswego; four grandchildren, George L. Harrington, Tera E. Elhage, Anton T. "Teddy" Elhage II and Darcy A. Matthews; one great-grandchild, Thomas Remington Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Harrington was predeceased by a daughter, Mary L. Harrington Elhage; and a brother, Seth Eason.
There will be no services.
Private committal services will be held in St. Peter's Cemetery.
