Write a commentSarah Weigelt, Director of Auxiliary and Volunteer Services for Oswego Health, was a recent guest at Oswego Rotary where she spoke to members about the Auxiliary and Volunteers at Oswego Hospital.
Ms. Weigelt is extremely proud of her dedicated team of volunteers who provide a variety of services to Oswego Hospital patients and their families. Volunteers assist with general information and directions upon entering the hospital, patient discharges, flower delivery and mail delivery. Under the guidance of Weigelt volunteers also work in the hospital snack bar, gift shop and at the Fulton Medical Center. The Auxiliary is charged with fundraising opportunities through various community events such as the annual holiday bazaar that raise money for funding equipment and programs and services to enhance patient care.
