The Oswego City School District Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Oswego Middle School Carl Palmitesso Theatre.

The meeting will be called to order at 5 p.m., but the board will move to an executive session to discuss teacher tenure, negotiations and specific employees.

It is anticipated the meeting will reconvene for the public at 6 p.m. with the board to recognize retirees.

During the evening the board will hear an updated report on the bids that were submitted for the Phase II portion of the 2012 capital project. It is anticipated the board will vote during the evening on accepting the bids. Extensive discussion is also anticipated for the alternates to the project.

The general construction bids included air conditioning for the Charles E. Riley and Frederick Leighton Elementary Schools and the Oswego Middle School field lights.
