There is still time to reserve your place for this hands-on workshop, but there are only a few seats left.

On Saturday, June 22, 2019 beginning at 9:30 am, Linda Scherz will lead participants in creating their own survival bowl.

During this workshop, program participants will weave survival paracord onto a 4” solid wood base with pre-glued spokes. They will learn many weaving techniques as they twine the bowl to almost 5” high and opening to 7½” diameter. The bowl will be completed with a lashed-on rim, accented with paracord rim filler. There will be a selection of colors for students to choose from. This bowl can be unwoven and used in case of emergency, as it is made with survival paracord.

The fee for this all-day workshop is $76 per person which includes all materials, prep, pattern and tool use during class to complete the basket. Participants should bring their own lunch and beverages. Paid registration in advance is required as space is limited. Please contact Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego to register for this program, 315-963-7286. Don’t miss your chance!
