Write a commentDan Kapuscinski, Public Relations Specialist at the Oswego Speedway was a recent guest at Oswego Rotary. Dan is a local guy who not only raced at the Speedway but has been involved with the World Racing Group and DIRT Motorsports handling PR and promotions in North Carolina.
When ownership changed at the Oswego Speedway in 2011 Dan was asked if he'd be interested in returning to Oswego to run PR and promotions here and he accepted. He's been working with John and Eric Torrese since 2012. Dan gave an update on the speedways history, ownership and all of the great things currently happening, along with events at the Kart track directly behind the back grandstand. Kapuscinski stressed the speedway isn't just about racing - it's about fun, community, family and working with others to provide great local entertainment. He spoke about construction of the race cars and the cost to race. The first race of the season is scheduled for Saturday, May 14th.
