Write a commentThe St. Baldrick's head shaving event, held Wednesday night at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center,in Oswego, met its goal of raising funds and creating a fun atmosphere for all who attended.
According to volunteer coordinator Dan Witmer the raffles went well and although funds are still being tallied, he is confident in Oswego reaching its goal of $75,000 in funds. The money will go straight to the St. Baldrick's Foundation for childhood cancer research and cures.
