Sunshine, crowds of happy shoppers, and a wide array of excellent crafts and goods for sale combined to make St. Joseph’s Annual Christmas Craft Show on December 9 a huge success!
Many returning vendors remarked that this was their most successful show in their many years of participating in the Oswego’s church’s popular event.
Ann Conzone, co-coordinator of this year’s show, and husband Jim Conzone, who was in charge of the kitchen/food items sold at the show, were equally pleased with the large number of those participating and attending. Fran Enwright of the parish’s St. Anne’s Society and her dear friend, Mona Shannon, for many years have been responsible for the bake sale which is held in tandem with the show, and they are always delighted when all the freshly baked items donated by the society’s members sell out long before the show ends.
Commitment to the event and effort put forth by parishioners who volunteer and serve to make the craft show a reality paid off handsomely this year. The long-standing tradition of St. Joseph’s Christmas Craft Show is a part of the parish’s plan to remain viable in the Oswego community and to provide an event where local sellers and buyers can intermingle, have fun, and be successful.
