Write a commentNurses from the St. Luke Health Services Adult Day Health Care Program will offer free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings during the Oswego Farmers' Market this Thursday, Aug. 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The screenings will be offered to the public at the St. Luke Tent, which will be located on West Oneida Street near the Civic Plaza.
"I encourage anyone who is interested in receiving valuable health screenings free of charge to stop and see us,” Sherry Harrison, St. Luke Adult Day Health Care program director, said. “The screenings take only a few minutes and the information can prove valuable to monitoring your overall health.”
St. Luke staff will be available to answer questions about screening results.
“Our program which is located at St. Luke Health Services, is a medical-model day care providing a full complement of medical and recreational opportunities and resources for our registrants, with flexible attendance options," Harrison said. "Transportation to our program can be arranged for residents throughout Oswego County.”
