St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 103 West 7th Street in Oswego, will host their Annual Parish Bazaar July 10, 11, and 12, with a rain date of July 13. The bazaar features plenty of food, fun and games for the entire family including: a cake booth, plant booth, Kiddie Land, a 50 / 50 drawings, St. Mary’s famous chicken barbecue, live entertainment nightly, and a chance to win $5,000 with St. Mary’s Annual Big Money Drawing.
In addition, St. Mary’s Bazaar will host live performances from one of the area’s most popular entertainers. Hometown native, Sam Domicolo kicks off the bazaar with a special performance on Friday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. Domicolo launched his music career in 1959 and has since entertained crowds throughout the country.
Saturday night, local favorite Paul Vandish will perform. A seasoned professional keyboardist and lead vocalist, Vandish is well known as half of the popular duo Side by Side that played all across New York State for several years. Vandish has returned to the local music scene and entertains audiences with a blend of classic oldies and standards as well as popular contemporary music of today.
On Sunday, afternoon, July 12, St. Mary’s Bazaar will host the Sounds of Brass from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. An energetic ensemble of brass and percussion, Sound of Brass is comprised of talented musicians from Central New York, who perform a wide variety of musical styles including; swing, Dixieland, polkas, patriotic tunes and other familiar favorites.
Held in the church parking lot at 103 West Seventh Street in Oswego the bazaar will run Friday, July 10 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 12 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a rain date of Monday, July 13.
