Write a commentSt. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 103 W. Seventh St., in Oswego, will host their Annual Parish Bazaar July 12, 13, and 14, with a rain date of July 15.
The bazaar features plenty of food, fun and games for the entire family including a cake booth, plant booth, Kiddie Land, a 50 / 50 drawing, St. Mary's famous chicken barbecue, live entertainment nightly and a chance to win $5,000 with St. Mary's Annual Drawing.
In addition, St. Mary's Bazaar will host live performances from of the area's most popular entertainers. Kicking off the entertainment will be local inspirational singer / songwriter, Carol Fisher from 6-9 p.m., Friday night. Fisher will be performing a variety of songs from her nine albums, including her latest album, Sing the Psalms Vol. 1.
On Sunday, afternoon, July 14, St. Mary's Bazaar will host the Sounds of Brass. An energetic ensemble of brass and percussion, Sound of Brass is comprised of talented musicians from Central New York, who perform a wide variety of musical styles including; swing, Dixieland, polkas, patriotic tunes and other familiar favorites.
Hometown native, Sam Domicolo, returns home from Florida for a special performance from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, July 14. Domicolo launched his music career in 1959 and has since entertained crowds throughout the country.
Held in the church parking lot at 103 W. Seventh St., in Oswego, the bazaar will run from 6-10 p.m., Friday, July 12; from 5-10 p.m., Saturday, July 13; and from 4-9 p.m., Sunday, July 14, with a rain date of Monday, July 15. For more information, contact Michelle Brown at 315-343-3953.
