Write a commentGirls in grades 3-6 may sign up today (Jan. 4) to play in the St. Paul's Leprechaun Girls Basketball League.
Registration for the organized instructional league will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Trinity Catholic School, 115 E. Fifth St., in Oswego. All games will be played at Trinity Catholic School.
There is a fee per player to participate. There is a discount for families with more than one player. All girls who played last year and intend to play this year must register to hold their spots.
There is room for 120 players and new players are selected by grade level starting with sixth, then fifth, fourth and third.
A drill camp will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. for all new players and only new players should attend. These drills are not try-outs. Everyone there is room for will be placed on a team.
All players and coaches should report to the gym at 6 p.m. Saturday to get team assignments, me coaches and get other information.
Practices will begin Saturday and games begin Jan. 22.
