Stone's Candy and Ice Cream, located at 145 W. Bridge St., has been serving up sweet treats to Oswego customers for 40 years.

In 1973, Jan Stachowicz, a research technician for Nestle's, purchased the businesss. Now, Stachowicz's wife, Marg, and son, Don, own the candy shop and keep it running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

stones chocolatesThe store has an arrangement of chocolates, hard and sugar-free candies and even chocolate mouldings for every occasion. Stone's creates its own homemade ice cream and has a variety of ice cream cakes to choose from.

The business also does special orders for holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas etc. Be sure to call between 9 a.m. And 4 p.m. to place an order. Peanut brittle and sponge candy are available to order also.
